Ambitions is a really great addition! The jobs are much fun and have many possibilities. The game has many options for everyone, either you like playing or building. We especially liked the private detective; the mysteries your Sim has to solve are really funny. The interior decorator is also very nice. It’s cool that the characteristics of your client are very important; this makes the work various. You finally can change the annoying npc’s when your Sim is a stylist. When you’re working, you don’t have to be on one specific place and you can travel through the neighbourhood. That’s very ideal when you have to take your toddlers to bed and afterwards you can continue with your obligations. And then you have of course all the new stuff. I (Linda) waited for such a long time to change the city, because it was really annoying you couldn’t change anything. Something else I really enjoyed, is the fact that these information windows are in 1 window. I always get 10 of these windows and I’m always busy to click everything away, but that’s not necessary any more. The SimBot is very cool too, it’s only a pity that it looks just like the robot in The Sims 2 Open For Business and I actually like to see a new creature. I was also a bit disappointed with the firefighters, because there are no fires all the time, so you’re just hanging around en working on your skills. And your Sims can deal with the small fires on their own, but we weren’t long enough a firefighter to see big fires and earthquakes and maybe that’s a lot more challenging.
About the preview: Besides that Ambitions turned out to be really good, it was also very great that EA Games has arranged this day very well. They always had time for a question and they arranged a great lunch and drinks. The other fansites were really friendly and helpful. We had a lot of fun!
